Axis handles the details of your property, your plans and your payment. That deserves a policy you can actually read. Ten short sections cover the lot; if anything is unclear, email team@axisplatform.au and a person will answer.
1 ·
Who we are
1.1
Axis Platform is a leading commercial property intelligence and resources platform based in Toorak, Melbourne. It helps Australian asset owners, buyers, investors, real estate agents and small developers on A$1M–A$30M assets and portfolios — from strategy advisory to project management, delivery, and the matching of opportunities and projects — on one systemised platform, at a fraction of traditional cost and with lower risk.

1.2
This policy covers the personal information we handle when you use the Axis website, order a report such as a Quick Scan or an Intelligence Pack, subscribe to Axis Desk, engage us for Pivot Planning or project work, or simply write to us. Axis Platform Holdings Pty Ltd is the entity responsible for that information.
2 ·
What we collect
2.1
We collect what you give us, and very little else. In practice that means:
D.01Contact details — your name, email address, phone number and, where relevant, your company.
D.02Property and case information you provide for a report or engagement — the property address, your situation, your intent, and answers to our intake questions.
D.03Documents you upload for a report — plans, contracts, permits or similar material you choose to share so we can assess the case.
D.04Payment information, which is handled by Stripe, our payment processor. Card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored by Axis.
D.05Basic site analytics — anonymous usage data such as which pages are visited, so we can see what works.
2.2
We do not ask for information we cannot use. If a field is on a form, it feeds a report or a reply.
3 ·
Why we collect it
3.1
Three reasons. First, to deliver what you ordered — a Quick Scan needs the property address and your case details, and an engagement needs enough context for the work to be done properly. Second, to respond when you contact us. Third, to send you email: service messages about your order or subscription, and occasional marketing about Axis products with an unsubscribe link in every message. Opt out once and marketing stops.
Standing note
Every Axis report carries the same standing note: “This is decision support, not formal financial, legal, tax or planning advice.” The information you give us is used to build that decision support — nothing beyond it.
4 ·
Who we share it with
4.1
Your information is never sold. It is shared only with the service providers that run the platform, each receiving just what its job requires: Stripe for payment processing, Vercel for hosting, Supabase for our database and file storage, and Resend for email delivery. Each of these providers processes your information to provide its service to us, under its own security and privacy commitments.

Beyond that, we disclose personal information only if the law requires it.
5 ·
Storage & security
5.1
Your data lives with the reputable cloud providers named above, protected by encryption in transit and access controls on our side. Some of that infrastructure is located overseas, including in the United States, which means your information may be stored or processed outside Australia by those providers. We choose providers with strong security practices, and we limit who at Axis can see client information to the people working on your case.
5.2
No system is perfectly secure. If a data breach ever created a likely risk of serious harm to you, we would notify you and the regulator as the Privacy Act requires.
6 ·
Access & correction
6.1
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to correct anything that is wrong. Email
team@axisplatform.au with the request and we will respond. There is no charge for asking.
7 ·
Complaints
7.1
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first at
team@axisplatform.au or on
+61 (03) 9071 0855. We take it seriously and will investigate and reply. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at
oaic.gov.au.
8 ·
Cookies
8.1
We keep cookies minimal: what is needed to keep a session working — such as staying signed in to a portal — plus basic anonymous analytics. We also use Google's advertising tag to measure whether our own Google ads lead to orders (conversion measurement); this sets Google cookies on your browser. We do not sell data to advertisers, and we do not run any other third-party ad trackers. You can opt out of Google's ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.
9 ·
Retention
9.1
We keep personal information while it is needed for your engagement and afterwards where the law obliges us to keep records — transaction and tax records, for instance. When information is no longer needed for either purpose, we delete it or de-identify it.

Changes to this policy
10.1
When this policy changes, we update this page and change the date at the top. Each version is dated, so you can always tell which one you are reading. The current version is dated 8 August 2026.
