About.Clarity before commitment for commercial property.

Axis Platform is a leading commercial property intelligence and resources platform based in Toorak, Melbourne. It helps Australian asset owners, buyers, investors, real estate agents and small developers on A$1M–A$30M assets and portfolios — from strategy advisory to project management, delivery, and the matching of opportunities and projects — on one systemised platform, at a fraction of traditional cost and with lower risk.

01 ·What Axis is

Intelligence on one side. Resources on the other.

Axis combines two things that usually live in separate firms. The first is decision intelligence — structured, senior-reviewed reports that test whether a property decision holds up before capital is committed. The second is a coordinated resource network: the planners, architects, engineers and specialist consultants a live project needs, briefed off one evidence base instead of six disconnected reports.

The platform is built for the moment before commitment. Most of the cost of a commercial property decision is locked in before anything is signed; Axis puts its weight exactly there. Stop is a valid outcome at every gate — capital saved from a flawed project counts the same as capital made.

Three engines carry the work, with a professional workspace on top.

E.01
StrategyDecide
Turns a vague ambition into a defined, evidenced decision — whether to commit, and on what terms. Quick Scan (A$49.95 Standard / A$495 Full, 24-hour target), Intelligence Pack (A$4,900) and Capital Readiness Pack (A$5,500).
E.02
PivotDeliver
Carries a live asset through the permit pathway and into delivery — managing the council clock and keeping the build true to the strategy. Pivot Planning runs from about A$3,000 a month.
E.03
MatchConnect
The matching of opportunities and projects — briefs, sites and mandates brought together across the Axis network, on the same evidence base the reports are built on.
E.04
DeskThe workspace
Axis Desk, the professional subscription — ongoing platform access for owners, agents and advisers who bring more than one decision through Axis.
02 ·How we work

One scoring system. A human signature on everything.

Every Axis report runs on the same structured method, so two reports on two different assets are comparable — same lenses, same discipline, same review standard.

The Axis Score SystemFixed frame

Structure first, opinion second.

Each deal is read through a fixed frame before anyone forms a view. The frame has four parts.

9Deal archetypes. Every deal is classified as one of nine recognisable patterns, so it is scored against the risks that actually apply to it.
5Weighted dimensions. Five dimensions of the deal are scored and weighted into a single position.
5Gate checks. Five hard checks that can stop a deal outright, whatever the score says.
A–CConfidence grades. Every conclusion carries an A, B or C grade, so you know how firmly the evidence supports it.

M.01

AI compiles. A senior human signs.

AI does the heavy lifting — research, drafting, first-pass structure. Then a senior reviewer reads, edits and signs off every output before it reaches a client. Raw AI output is never delivered. If it went out, a person stands behind it.

M.02

Client-side, and only client-side.

Axis is engaged by you and paid for the decision, not the transaction. The reading of a deal does not change if you walk away — at every gate, stop is a successful outcome.

M.03

Decision support, plainly labelled.

Axis reports are structured decision support. Where a matter needs a licensed professional — finance and credit above all — Axis refers it to licensed partners rather than straying outside its lane.

This is decision support, not formal financial, legal, tax or planning advice.

03 ·Who it’s for

Built for a specific owner. Honestly not for everyone.

The platform is tuned to one band of the market: Australian commercial assets and portfolios between A$1M and A$30M, where the decision matters enormously and an in-house analysis team does not exist.

Axis is built for
  • Asset owners and owner-occupiers weighing what to do with a commercial property
  • Investors and family offices assessing commercial positions in the A$1M–A$30M band
  • Small developers — first project or fifth — who need senior-level thinking without a head office behind them
  • The real estate agents and advisers who work alongside those owners
Axis is not built for
  • Institutions and REITs — they already run in-house teams that do this work
  • Residential-only buyers — the method is built around commercial assets
  • Anyone seeking financial or credit advice — Axis refers capital matters to licensed partners
  • Buyers who want cheap, unreviewed automated output — every Axis report carries a human signature, and that is the point
04 ·The principals

The people behind the platform.

Axis is founder-led and deliberately small. Two principals set its direction — one builds the system, one builds the network.

P.01
Gina MatthysCo-Founder & Engineer

Co-founded Axis and leads its engineering — the scoring engine, the order and delivery pipelines, the systems that keep every report moving are her build. She holds the line that nothing ships until it works.

P.02
Mary SangDirector

Directs the resource side of Axis — maps the network of specialists, consultants and partners the platform draws on across Australia, matches the right people to each brief, and keeps it deep, current and ready to move. When a project needs a capability that is hard to find, Mary knows who.

05 ·Delivery record

What the principals have delivered.

Across their careers, the principals have carried commercial projects from idea through planning and construction to operating asset. Four of them:

R.01
South Melbourne · VICMedical centre repositioning
A four-level building successfully repositioned into a medical centre.
R.02
Canberra · ACTSuper clinic
A super clinic of roughly 2,400 sqm, delivered in a Canberra growth corridor.
R.03
Sydney · NSWFood & entertainment precinct
A food and entertainment precinct, taken from concept through to implementation.
R.04
NSWBeach apartments
Twenty-four beach apartments, delivered on the New South Wales coast.

These projects were delivered by the Axis principals across their careers, before and outside the platform. They are the experience Axis is built on — not Axis Platform client engagements.
